Meet Nick McMayon, a Dallas Realtor and co-principal of DTX Living Group at Compass, serving clients throughout Dallas and the surrounding areas, with a particular focus on Oak Cliff, Oak Lawn and Central Dallas. With more than 15 years of real estate experience, Nick works with buyers, sellers and investors and has a strong background in historic homes, condos and townhomes.
Nick's knowledge of Dallas comes from years of both living and working throughout the city's central neighborhoods. After spending more than a decade in Oak Lawn, Nick now calls North Oak Cliff home. He and his husband, Dylan, have purchased and renovated two homes in Oak Cliff, including their current historic Craftsman in Winnetka Heights. That experience has given Nick firsthand insight into both the rewards and challenges that can come with renovating and owning an older home.
As a Historic Home Specialist, Nick has a particular appreciation for Dallas' older neighborhoods and architecture. While his experience spans Dallas and the surrounding areas, Nick has particularly deep knowledge of Winnetka Heights, Kessler Park, Stevens Park, Hampton Hills, Kidd Springs, Bishop Arts and surrounding Oak Cliff neighborhoods, as well as Oak Lawn, Uptown and other established Central Dallas communities.
Whether buying or selling, Nick takes a personal and straightforward approach, helping clients understand the market and feel confident in their decisions. He works with everyone from first-time buyers to experienced homeowners and investors and has helped many clients with relocation to the Dallas area. Nick is also proud to serve the LGBTQ+ community throughout Dallas and the surrounding areas.
Beyond sales, Nick has years of experience in the Dallas rental market. He helps clients find homes for lease and works with investors and property owners to market their properties, secure tenants and navigate the leasing process.
Nick's work has been recognized by RealTrends, D Magazine, Dallas Real Producers, MetroTex's 40 Under 40 and Advocate Magazine, which has recognized him among Oak Cliff's top real estate agents.
Outside of real estate, Nick enjoys trying new restaurants around Dallas, traveling, scuba diving, working out and spending time with his husband and their three dogs.
Whether helping someone buy their first home, sell a longtime property, find a rental or make their next investment, Nick brings firsthand neighborhood knowledge, years of experience and a personal approach to every client he works with.
